This was a quick easy read. I love a good mystery.
Okay for Now by Gary D. SchmidtMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was an interesting book. It's told from the perspective of 7th grade boy. His father is abusive and his brother is a troublemaker. So when he moves to a new town, a lot of people assume the worst about him. This book shows how abuse and dysfunctional families do not have to become a cycle. A few people accept him for who he is and who he can become and with their support he earns the respect of a lot of people and helps his family change.

I loved this book right from the beginning. I've got the next book on hold at the library. I can't wait to read it.

Cannot find the time, my books on the kindle are piling up. Share your secret please I really enjoy reading but it looks like it has made it to the bottom of my list
