I have been holding in a little secret for awhile now that I couldn't wait to share with you all.

Last summer I designed and created a quilt. And it's featured in a new online quilting magazine! The magazine is called We Like Quilting.

HEXAGON QUILT FEATURE

English paper piecing has always had an appeal to me. However, making an entire quilt  in EPP seemed daunting. 

This quilt is designed specifically to learn how to do English paper piecing by creating darling hexie flowers.

 

Each flower is then appliqued to a quilt block and pieced together into a quilt top.

Enjoy the process of learning a new technique, but still be able to finish the project in less time than a traditional hexie quilt would take.
