Easy Framed Heart Art

Easy Framed Heart Art
Not too long ago, I raided my craft room for anything Valentine's or heart related. I sat down and did a few quick projects in an afternoon. This easy framed heart art was one of the results of that afternoon. Sometimes we just need a quick project, right? This one is definitely quick. Another plus: the supplies are inexpensive.

Want to make your own Framed Heart Art?

You will need:
a frame -  I suggest using something you have already to make this project very inexpensive
heart stickers - mine were glittery
white cardstock
paint
foam paint brush
sandpaper

To begin, cut out a piece of cardstock to fit the opening of the frame.

Next, simply place the hearts on the cardstock, taking care to keep them straight and evenly spaced. Mine aren't perfect, but it's still cute.

Paint your frame the desired color. I did one coat. Once the paint is dry, I used a piece of sandpaper to distress the edges and the front of the frame.

Insert your heart covered cardstock into the frame.

Told you it was easy!  If you like this project, pin it! And be sure to follow me on Pinterest - I've been going crazy on my Valentine's board lately.
