More Basement Projects

First off, I'd like to turn your attention to my left sidebar. There's a poll there and I'd like to get everyone's input.
Second, I've been updating my blog a little bit. I've got new tabs along the top. And I now I have buttons.  I'd like to thank my sister for her help. She designed them as well as my header.  Isn't she amazing?

Last week I spent almost every spare minute cleaning up our basement.  So far this week has been all spent catching up with what I neglected upstairs last week.

Here's what I did in the basement.  It's really not that exciting (except maybe to me) - but I blog about what I do and this has been it lately.

This closet has all the clothes the kids have outgrown - but that I still want to  keep for the younger ones.  I went through them and got rid of some.

I'm hoping that I won't have to get anything out because this is what the rest of the room looks like now.

I went through the whole basement.  I moved everything into this room that we want to keep.
Now the rest of the basement is clutter free and we can get to work finishing it.

I also filled this closet up with all our holiday decor and hunting stuff.

Under the stairs is filled with totes of toys and clothes, and other misc. stuff.

Now that I've got that all done I'm excited to get back to some fun projects. I've got two started that have been sitting for almost two weeks. Plus there's always more ideas floating around in my head.

  1. Sometimes I can't even begin fun projects until I do some cleaning. I'm feeling that way today.
I've got about 5 projects started and "mess" everywhere. I need 2 or 3 of me so I can get more done. :) I can't wait to see your finished projects including the ones floating around in your head LOL! Have a great day!

  2. My basement looks like that! It's just such a huge project I keep finding other things to do to keep from thinking about how we need to get down there and just get rid of stuff! My husband likes to keep everything and I like to chunk it so I'm also avoiding an argument too! :) I took your poll! Have fun crafting!
