Here's what I've been reading last month. I'd love to hear what books you've been enjoying.

This was a great young adult book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next one to come out.

I'm not always good at remembering books, so I had a little trouble at the beginning of this to remember what had happened previously. You definitely need to read the first and second books first. I enjoyed it and look forward to the next one.
City of Angels by Sheralyn Pratt

This book was great. It has mystery and a little bit of love interest. Very clean. A quick fun read.

Great mystery. This is LDS fiction, however it's mostly just a mystery story. There was one part where I felt like I was reading a sermon. Not necessarily bad, it just didn't seem to flow with the rest of the story. Will definitely read the rest of the series.
 City Limits by Sheralyn Pratt

I love these books. There's a great mystery to solve and a love story intertwined. I couldn't put it down.
Kay'sville: The Rhea Jensen Series, Book 4 by Sheralyn Pratt
Kay'sville: The Rhea Jensen Series, Book 4 by Sheralyn PrattMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book was a little different than the others, although not any less engaging. It was told in the perspective of Kay {Rhea's best friend} It goes back and forth in time, and you learn why Kay is the way she is. There is not a mystery in this book but I still couldn't put it down. I don't have a thing in common with Kay, but the author has a way of making the character real and making you like her and understand her.

I just finished OKAY for Now by Gary D. Schmidt. I have to say its by far the best book I have read in a long time. I might even go as far as to put it in my top ten best books. Its a must read.
ReplyDeleteStop by my blog where I do book reviews. I haven't reviewed this book yet as I am still processing everything.
Have a good day

Are you a series type of reader? I am. I am just starting The Hunger Games...I know, a little behind the times. But I REALLY like it.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Hunger Games too! Those are the kind of books I'd like to read again.
DeleteI just started a book called Name of the Wind. So far it's pretty good. My husband and brother both read it and loved it so I though I'd give it a try.
ReplyDeleteAlways great to have a list of books to read on hand. Thanks for sharing at our party this week.
