The Aunt Dinah quilt block is gorgeous made with two fabrics.
The block is made up of two unique quilting units and then assembled using a basic nine patch method.
AUNT DINAH QUILT BLOCK
I'm loving the red and white fabric together.I've made a few blocks with this color scheme. The Amish Star and the Counterchange Cross blocks.
I've got partial bolts of muslin and the red fabric. So you'll likely see more blocks with these colors.
Note: I'm not sure if muslin is typically recommended or not for quilting. One thing I have noticed is that the wrinkles don't iron out easily. The off-white color pairs well with the red and I have a lot of it, so I will use it.
