Ginger Snap Cookies

Ginger snap cookies are an absolute must around here during the holidays. But I like this old fashioned molasses cookie any time of the year.

These soft ginger cookies have just the right blend of cinnamon, cloves and ginger that perfectly enhance the molasses. YUM!

The recipe originates from my Grandma. They are slightly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. They are oh so good.

They also freeze very well so I make up a batch or two and throw them in the freezer and pull them out when I've got a craving for them.

Homemade Oreo cookies, peanut butter blossoms, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, GIANT chocolate chip cookies and fruit pizza cookies are a few of our other favorites.
