Monkey Bread

Monkey Bread is one of my favorite desserts and I have an easy recipe for you. I love the ooey gooey goodness.
My kids helped me make it.

First you place butter, sugar, brown sugar and ice cream in a sauce pan.

Melt it on the stove and let it cook a few minutes

Meanwhile, take some clean scissors and cut some refrigerated biscuits into fourths.

Then let your kids dip them into a cinnamon/sugar mixture and place them in a 9x13 pan.

Pour the sauce over the top.

Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

Monkey Bread
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. vanilla ice cream (I always use a little extra)
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
Melt together over medium heat. Let cook a few minutes after melting to thicken a bit.

4 tubes refrigerated biscuits, cut into fourths and dipped into a cinnamon and sugar mixture and placed in a greased 9x13 pan. Pour caramel mixture over biscuits. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

I like it best while it's warm.

  1. What a great idea for a different breakfast for my children! Served with eggs and sausage, they would think they died and gone to HEAVEN! Thanks for the easy recipe...love that!

  2. Looks delicious! I am going to have to try this! Thanks for sharing.
